The evidence
We audited our own site first. It scored 2.1.
Before rebuilding this site we ran the old one through the same audit we sell. It was live and it loaded fast, and it was close to invisible. The full report is public.
2.1/10
Our previous site, measured 20 October 2026
- Competitor A6.1
- Competitor B8.3
Two Dubai agencies already appearing in AI-agency searches, measured the same way on the same day.
What the audit found
- Enquiries were going to another company. The contact link pointed at a lookalike domain owned by an unrelated business.
- AI crawlers received an empty page. 4,200 bytes of HTML with no headings and no copy. Everything appeared only after JavaScript ran.
- No structured data. Nothing told a machine what the business was, where it worked or what it sold.
- Not found under its own name. Searches for the brand returned three unrelated organisations instead.
Every finding came with a written fix. This site is what applying them looks like.
The problem
Why businesses go missing from AI answers
When someone asks an AI assistant for a recommendation, it names two or three businesses. There is no page two. Three things usually decide whether you are one of them.
It cannot read your site
OpenAI’s, Anthropic’s and Perplexity’s crawlers do not run JavaScript. If your content only appears in the browser, they receive an empty page. Our old site failed exactly this way.
It cannot tell who you are
If your name, contact details and services are inconsistent, or your name overlaps with other organisations, the assistant cannot be sure which business it is describing. Ours overlapped with three.
Nobody else mentions you
Assistants lean on third-party pages such as directories, round-ups and reviews. When we checked the Dubai AI-agency round-ups that currently rank, we were in none of them.
Crawler behaviour: Vercel, “The rise of the AI crawler”, December 2024. Google’s Gemini and Apple’s crawler do render JavaScript; the others in that study do not.
The audit
From measurement to a fix list
- 01
Measure
We read your site the way a crawler does and the way a browser does, then test twenty real questions across Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.
- 02
Benchmark
Two competitors are measured with the identical method on the same day, so you see where you stand rather than an abstract score.
- 03
Prioritise
Every finding is ranked most-critical-first with a specific fix, then walked through with you on a 45-minute call.
